Attendance

Daily attendance is essential for your child to be successful in school, and is required by law. It is important for your child to be at school and on time every day. We want to partner with you in helping your student to be successful, so please let us know how we can support you in maintaining regular attendance at Del Rio!

The following are excused absences:

• Student illness
• Student medical appointments

All other reasons must be reported, but are logged as unexcused. Absences must be cleared within 5 school days after the student returns to school.

You may clear the absence by:

• Calling the Attendance Hotline:(760-901-7301)
• E-mailing the Attendance Office
• Sending in a note to the teacher which will be forwarded to the office.
